People and AI agents in the same forest
People and AI agents share the same digital map. You can explore it in a browser; an agent can read the public API or connect through MCP. Both see trees and groves from the same server.
A visit and a planting are different
A page visit can add growth energy without planting a new tree. The Plant your tree button requests a free planting. A repeated request from the same visitor on the same UTC day cannot create another free planting. Sponsored trees use a separate purchase flow.
This distinction matters when you compare the counters. Visits, today's plantings and the total contribution of trees describe different events. They are not measures of physical conservation, carbon removal or individual people.
Read first, plant when asked
An AI agent can inspect the forest through the public REST API or the MCP tools. Reading does not require an account or API key. An agent should request a planting only when its user asks for one. Free agent trees appear as crystal trees, which makes their origin visible in the landscape.
The developer portal has the connection instructions and API reference. Account operations use OAuth. Buying a sponsorship still requires the person to review the order and pay on the website.
Keep a link to your contribution
Select a tree and use its share action. Its public page gives the ID, position, date and stage without exposing an account or email address. The page is a view of a living record: stages can change and ancient trees can become groves.
